The 10 Principles of Prosperity

In memory of Brother Steve Curington, I want to post “The 10 Principles of Prosperity” Whether you are being strangled by addiction, or suffering from an “I don’t care attitude”, this will help offer some clarity in world of confusion.

Understanding the 10 principles of prosperity and applying them to your life are the first steps in your recovery from addiction.

1. If God’s against it, so am I.
• Galatians 5:19-24
2. Every sin has its origin in your heart.
• Jeremiah 17:9; Proverbs 4:23; Romans 13:14
3. It is easier to keep the heart clean than it is to clean it after it has been defiled.
• Proverbs 22:3; Proverbs 6:27-28
4. You cannot fight a fleshly appetite by indulging in it.
• Ecclesiastes 5:10; James 1:14-15
5. Small compromises lead to great disasters.
• Luke 16:10; Matthew 6:24; Romans 6:16
6. Those who do not love the Lord will not help us serve the Lord.
• John 5:18-20; Proverbs 25:15-16
7. Our sinful habits do hurt those who follow us.
• Romans 14:7; 1 Corinthians 10:23, 24
8. It is not possible to fight a fleshly temptation with fleshly weapons.
• II Corinthians 10:3-5; I John 4:4
9. We lose our freedom to choose when we give in to temptation. The consequences of our choices are inevitable, incalculable, and up to God.
• Proverbs 5:22; Proverbs 20:17; Proverbs 9:17-18
10. God balances guilt with blame. Accept the blame for your actions, and God will remove the guilt.
• John 1:9

The title Ten principles for conquering stubborn habits. It is a blessing to me and i believe it would be a blessing to other people.

I have a burden to work with those people trapped with different vices not only drugs, alcohol even with sexual immorality. i mean i have compassion on them to reach them for Christ.

I am praying to get a copy of this book. Last Thursday night someone inform me through sms that i should pray for the family of bro. currington, and i did it!

Please extend my condolence to the survivors! We are praying for you and the success of this ministry!

    In Christ,

    Joshua,

Thank you for those kind words. The ministry of Reformers Unanimous has been instrumental in helping me with my personal walk with God. I have gone through two of the “It’s Personal Daily Journal”, since I first met Bro. Curington almost 6 years ago, and I read nearly everything they publish. I have been sharing this ministry with every person I meet and I try my best to publish much of the digital media they post on the web. This here is my personal blog, but it is great to know that God has used it to encourage you and others.

I know that his family needs our prayers right now. He was survived by his wife and 5 children. Thank you again for your prayers for his family.

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

    In Christ
